AREAS OF PRACTICE
John Greene is an associate in the marketing, promotions, gaming and communications law areas of the firm’s practice. John’s practice focuses primarily in the areas of Internet marketing law, Internet poker law, fantasy sports law and sweepstakes law-related litigation and advising clients with respect to intellectual property rights and Internet regulations.
John also has extensive experience in commercial and employment law litigation. John has successfully defended employers in various discrimination lawsuits as well as overtime and prevailing wage actions. John is especially experienced in litigating restrictive covenants and non-compete contracts.
Prior to joining the firm, John was an associate with a law firm in Manhattan, where his practice focused on complex commercial litigation. John is a former clerk to United States Magistrate Judge Ronald L. Ellis in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
John is admitted to practice in New York State, the United States Court of Appeals, Second Circuit, and in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
